Standard Bookings
Bistro and Sunday Dining

Deposits of £5 per person will be required for tables of 6 or more (for Bistro or Sunday menu reservations).  If you cancel your reservation after the ‘Cancellation Deadline’ then Cellar Door reserves the right to retain your deposit payment. Please let Cellar Door know of any changes in numbers in the run up to your reservation.  For larger bookings Cellar Door may retain some or all of your deposit in an instance where numbers have been reduced within the ‘Cancellation Deadline’.

Charges for individual Guest Cancellations where food has been Pre-Ordered

For tables of 10+ you will be asked to order your dishes in advance.  Cellar Door reserves the right to charge part of all of the value of a cancelled guest’s meal if we are informed within the timeframes outlined below to cover for overordering of ingredients and unnecessary food prep and waste.

Christmas Festive Menu Bookings

Deposits of £10 per person will be required to reserve all tables booked for our Christmas menus. Deposit size may vary if you have arranged exclusive use of all or part of the venue.

The full food balance will be due 2 weeks before your booked date. Invoice adjustments will be made as required if changes are made after the main invoice has been paid. All outstanding money including Bar Tabs must be settled on the night.

Please note that reductions in your confirmed numbers will be charged at £10 per person once within 2 weeks of the event and that the full price will be charged for any guests that cancel within a week of the booking.

 

Event Bookings

Deposits for events will usually be 20% of your main invoice (Usually made up of the Venue hire charge, catering & drinks that have been decided on). The deposit amount may vary depending on your event. In the event that you cancel your event you will lose a percentage of your deposit as shown below.

The full balance is due 1 month before the event. Invoice adjustments will be made as required if changes are made after the main invoice has been paid. All outstanding money including Bar Tabs must be settled on the night.

Please note that catering and pre-ordered drinks quantities cannot be reduced within 2 weeks of your event.

 

Reserving space/tables for Drinks Only

A group of 6 or more may reserve space at Cellar Door (subject to availability) for drinks by putting down a deposit of £5 per person (a deposit may not always be required). This deposit will be applied as a credit to your bar tab for day you have booked. Any remaining bar credit left on the tab at the end of the evening is non-refundable. We may need to hold a bank card to keep your tab open on busy nights.
